What is Quantum Consciousness?

We are living in the blooming of a new view of reality. The discoveries of quantum physics are rapidly converging with the ancient wisdom traditions, in an evolutionary development that could be called Quantum Consciousness. This new cosmology sees the universe as a "Unified Field" or inter-related web without separate parts, alive, conscious and meaningful. The primary reality is consciousness. The material realm is secondary. Meaning is fundamental. We are evolving at a fierce rate toward these new understandings, and toward a new conception of our own nature. We are all the Cosmos becoming conscious of Itself and turning back to look at Its handiwork.

Transforming Consciousness

Transformation of consciousness usually happens over time, in bits and pieces. The neural pathways that have been laid down by life experiences inside the cultural complex are stubborn and resistant to change. In undertaking the task to change them consciously, which is to seek a new consciousness and a new Reality to live in, repetition is . . . → Read More: Transforming Consciousness

The Realm of Archetypes

We owe our modern understanding of archetypes to Carl Jung. Jung, in speculating about archetypes, credited Plato with originating the idea. We don’t know how much further back in history the idea might have existed before Plato. Plato’s concept was that, in an invisible realm, there are ideal forms existing that form the patterns for the . . . → Read More: The Realm of Archetypes

Two Realms and Suffering

One way of thinking about consciousness is to postulate two realms: (1) awareness of the manifest realm of forms, the realm of material or matter, which is full of chaos, pain and suffering, and (2) awareness of the nonmanifest realm of interiority, of the ideal, a level of reality that is Platonic, pure idea, and is . . . → Read More: Two Realms and Suffering

The Living Cosmos

Quantum physics has discovered that the universe is a single thing, a singularity. There are no separate parts. Though our senses perceive separate objects in the world, the deeper truth of Reality is that it is an immense, single web of interconnection. It is really more even than interconnection because that term still carries traces of . . . → Read More: The Living Cosmos
