What is Quantum Consciousness?

We are living in the blooming of a new view of reality. The discoveries of quantum physics are rapidly converging with the ancient wisdom traditions, in an evolutionary development that could be called Quantum Consciousness. This new cosmology sees the universe as a "Unified Field" or inter-related web without separate parts, alive, conscious and meaningful. The primary reality is consciousness. The material realm is secondary. Meaning is fundamental. We are evolving at a fierce rate toward these new understandings, and toward a new conception of our own nature. We are all the Cosmos becoming conscious of Itself and turning back to look at Its handiwork.

Primary Reality

Primary Reality is the unfolding material reality of Being, or the Cosmos. Its most notable characteristic, as Buddha noted, is incessant shifting change. This could also be called metamorphosis, or, even better, flowing metamorphosis. Whatever exists as reality in the moment is eternally shifting into something else, something new. The current Primary Reality is the Now . . . → Read More: Primary Reality

The I-Agenda

The I-Narrative is the story-line of the ego. It is an on-going conversation that we have with ourselves, constantly reminding us of who we are, how we got to this place in life, and what is happening to us now. This is how we create the sense of a consistent, continuing self that is moving through . . . → Read More: The I-Agenda

The I-Narrative

Human beings are story-telling animals. Telling stories is one of the primary ways that we struggle to understand ourselves, to understand and remember who we are, how we became this person, and what is currently happening to us.  Throughout our lives, we continually re-tell ourselves the story of our life. This extended storyline, which uses our . . . → Read More: The I-Narrative

Music is pure pattern. It is harmonic patterns weaving together. It is patterning both in the external world, where the sounds originate, and in the individual human brain, where the sounds are assembled to make sounds into music. When composers sit down to write a piece of music, they are engaged in creating and assembling patterns. . . . → Read More: Music

Language is an overlooked miracle. It is such a familiar and omnipresent feature of our lives that we fail to appreciate its miraculous quality. It is startling to realize that I can have images in my mind and turn them into sounds with my larynx, tongue and lips.

The sound-waves can travel through space to you on . . . → Read More: Language

Piercing the Crust

The material world is only the surface, the outer crust, of Reality. It is the dying end of idea. It is real and important, but it is only one of the many levels of Being. We need to train ourselves to see through the crust of matter, to the marvelous, invisible realities beneath.

We are trapped in . . . → Read More: Piercing the Crust

DNA is the primordial harmonic pattern. It is the architect for all life-forms on Earth. It functions as a kind of chemical memory, enabling life-forms to reproduce themselves and pass on their characteristics to subsequent generations. It is the linkage in the chain of life, providing the fundamental template that organizes . . . → Read More: DNA
