What is Quantum Consciousness?

We are living in the blooming of a new view of reality. The discoveries of quantum physics are rapidly converging with the ancient wisdom traditions, in an evolutionary development that could be called Quantum Consciousness. This new cosmology sees the universe as a "Unified Field" or inter-related web without separate parts, alive, conscious and meaningful. The primary reality is consciousness. The material realm is secondary. Meaning is fundamental. We are evolving at a fierce rate toward these new understandings, and toward a new conception of our own nature. We are all the Cosmos becoming conscious of Itself and turning back to look at Its handiwork.

Exceptionalism

Americans detest being ordinary. In recent years, political scientists have begun to talk of “American Exceptionalism.” By this they are referring to an arrogant American assumption that our values, system and lifestyle are so superior to those of other countries that they should be exported to countries across the world. The Holding of Being

Our earliest formative experience after birth is being held by our mother. This is immensely important to the baby. After the trauma of moving by pressure and contractions through the birth canal, the baby desperately needs the warmth, contact, security, safety and love of the mother’s arms and body. It needs to feel her loving presence . . . → Read More: The Holding of Being

Magical Consciousness

Our whole history as humans is a progressive process of drawing away from undifferentiated oneness toward separateness. This is also a drawing away from Being and the experience of being embedded in It, so the process brings ever-increasing despair and desolation as development progresses and separation increases. In our pre-human, animal phase, we did not take the . . . → Read More: Magical Consciousness

Provenance

In order to assess where we might evolve next, we need to know where we are now, and how we got here. This involves a look at the evolution of human consciousness. The starting place is, of course, lost in the mists of time, in the origins of awareness itself. The . . . → Read More: Provenance

Evolution Into Field Consciousness

It is presumptuous to try to predict where evolution may take us next. However, if  we can grasp where the gaping holes exist in our present consciousness, the sources of our problems, perhaps we can express a guess, or at least a hope, about that trajectory. Beyond doubt, our sense of separation from the Earth, from the . . . → Read More: Evolution Into Field Consciousness
