What is Quantum Consciousness?

We are living in the blooming of a new view of reality. The discoveries of quantum physics are rapidly converging with the ancient wisdom traditions, in an evolutionary development that could be called Quantum Consciousness. This new cosmology sees the universe as a "Unified Field" or inter-related web without separate parts, alive, conscious and meaningful. The primary reality is consciousness. The material realm is secondary. Meaning is fundamental. We are evolving at a fierce rate toward these new understandings, and toward a new conception of our own nature. We are all the Cosmos becoming conscious of Itself and turning back to look at Its handiwork.

The Apollonian and the Chthonian

The Western reality system has been characterized as “Apollonian.” It’s a useful handle for a bundle of characteristics. The word derives, of course, from Apollo, the god of the sun. The Apollonian mind, familiar to us all because it is our own, is brilliantly sun-lit, clear and orderly. Reality is material, visible, simple, observable and apparent. . . . → Read More: The Apollonian and the Chthonian

Recurrent Creation

Our view of reality is shifting. The assumptions that we hold are changing. Mainstream science was constructed on a particular worldview that has now been challenged and is eroding. That worldview included considering the Universe as occupying a static, stable, unchanging empty space, and time as a linear, measurable unfolding of events. It also included the . . . → Read More: Recurrent Creation

Humans are adaptable creatures. They can arrange themselves in any number of ways, both as individuals and in groups. The mode of arrangement that we choose depends entirely on our orientation.Orientation is fundamental to functioning. Without basic orientation—knowing who we are, where we are, and what surrounds us—we are helpless and inoperative. We are in the . . . → Read More: Orientation

The Field not only creates. It also destroys. In the Hindu Vedanta of 3,500 years ago, three processes were outlined. These insights were anything but primitive. They were, in fact, characteristic of the Field as we are beginning to understand It today.

First, there was Brahman, the fount of creativity. All things emerge . . . → Read More: Destruction
